Put your result to work

A calculator for everyday numbers

Use the keys or type an expression for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Parentheses let you group a calculation. For example, 24 × 40 × 52 gives 49,920: annual gross income at $24 per hour, 40 hours each week and 52 paid weeks.

Calculate percentages

Try 200 + 10% for a 10% increase, giving 220. Try 200 − 10% for a 10% decrease, giving 180. Multiplication and division treat the percentage as a fraction: 200 × 10% gives 20. Multiplication and division happen before addition and subtraction.

Keep and compare your results

MC clears memory, MR recalls it, and M+ or M− adds or subtracts the current result. Ans inserts the last result calculated with the equals key. Save up to three calculations, then use the live fourth scenario to compare. Download all scenarios together in Excel, Word, PDF or JPG.
