How to use this calculator & common questions
Start with the problem, not the keys
Open Solve a problem / examples. Choose a quadratic or linear equation, a pair of linear equations, summary statistics, a derivative at a point, or a definite integral. Labeled inputs and examples guide you; Solve & save answer adds the complete task to history. Comparison and exports use that same answer. Graph examples include a parabola, a sine wave in radians and exponential growth.
Graph and analyze a function
Enter a function of x on the Home line, then press GRAPH. WINDOW opens the graph bounds, TABLE builds a value table and TRACE moves along the curve. MODE switches between degrees and radians.
Numeric calculus tools
d/dx opens a labeled input for the derivative point. The integral key opens separate lower and upper bounds; these are independent of the graph window. These are numerical approximations; tighten the window around the interval you want to study and confirm important work independently.
